Getting started, and where to look.

Everything you need for your first ten minutes, and where to go after that.

First ten minutes

  1. Sign up and verify your email. Choose “Email me a magic link” if you would rather not set a password.
  2. Install the extension and press Connect. Save the page you are on, or highlight a sentence on it. It lands in your Inbox.
  3. Make a board from the sidebar, then drag the link onto it. Hold Alt or Ctrl while dropping to add it to a second board.
  4. Bring your history with Import: this browser’s bookmarks straight from the extension, or a Raindrop, Pocket, Instapaper or Pinboard export. You see how folders will land before anything is saved.
  5. Write one rule. “If the address contains youtube.com, tag with Video and move to Watch.” Or switch on Smart Inbox in Settings and let boilerpod file new links for you.
